Unveiling the Mahindra XUV 3XO: A Compact SUV Redefining Style, Comfort, and Performance

XUV 3XO

The Mahindra XUV 3XO is a compact SUV that does not compromise on features and looks. It is ready to give tough competition to SUVs like the Hyundai Venue, the Kia Sonet, and the Tata Nexon.

How is the Exterior Design?

The large gloss panel, in the front, gives it an EV vibe and the headlamps flaunt C-shaped DRLs. The angular front with sharp lines on the bonnet gives it an aggressive look. The side profile hasn’t changed much; it looks similar to its older iteration – the XUV 300. The 17-inch alloy wheels and plastic cladding, give the car a sporty look. The rear end features a connected LED tail lamp and the registration plate has been shifted down on the bumper. The sides of the bumper exhibit a lot of detailing. With all these elements, this SUV is the one that holds attention.

Cabin Features and Experience

Looking at interiors, the treatment here is similar to that has been done in the XUV 400 earlier. The soft-touch materials have been used on the dash along with the stitching and gloss black element. The big touchscreen infotainment has Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity. The touch response is pretty good and the graphics are crisp, providing a nice experience. It also has big physical control buttons enhancing the ease of use. The steering wheel has gloss black elements with a control button. Further, the instrument cluster is fully digital and has a navigation system. The seats and steering are adjustable. With the bright theme in the lower half of the cabin, it demands more care to keep shining.

Entertainment, Comfort, and Convenience

The infotainment system is 10.25 inches while the instrument cluster is also of the same size. The car has a dual-zone climate control system and a seven-speaker Harman Kordan sound system with a 380W amplifier. It also boasts a 65W type C charging port and a wireless charger in the front. In the rear also, there is a type C charger to offer the device charging feasibility to rear seat occupants. The rear seating is comfortable enough with good cushioning, good legroom, and headroom. The SUV also has a large sunroof that is claimed to be the largest in the segment.

The XUV 3XO’s Occupants’ Safety

On the safety front, this Mahindra Car incorporates airbags, electronic stability control, and ISOFIX child seat anchorages. The higher variants boast more features such as hill start assist, electronic parking brake, and several level-2 ADAS features.

Luggage Space for Travelling Long

The boot space is 295 litres and it has been enhanced with the 60:40 rear seat foldability. Mahindra claims that the boot space has been measured only up to the seat height. It means that the car offers more space than 295 litres if it is measured up to the roof.

Powertrains and Overall Experience

This newly launched car comes with three engine options – two 1.2 petrol engine options and a 1.5-litre diesel engine option. The transmission options are a six-speed manual and a six-speed automatic.

The driving experience is wonderful as the cabin is quiet and provides a soothing in-cabin experience. Its performance is exhilarating with three different drive modes. The suspension setup is slightly stiff and doesn’t offer the plushest ride. However, it’s nice with the amount of power the engine offers.

Lucrative Pricing

The ex-showroom Mahindra XUV 3XO price ranges between 7.49 Lakhs and 15.49 Lakhs. This pricing makes it a lucrative offer with the design, features, and overall driving experience of the SUV.
