Kevin Hart Suffered three Spinal Fractures in a Labor Day Weekend Car Accident

In the United States, holiday weekends are associated with statistically higher rates of auto accidents. According to the National Safety Council, nearly 400 people die in Labor Day weekend car accidents each year. Kevin Hart was a passenger in his 1970 Plymouth Barracuda on Labor Day weekend 2019 when the driver, Jared Black, lost control of the vehicle and crashed near Mulholland Highway in Malibu, California. The accident happened around 12:45 a.m.

According to police reports, Black was not under the influence of drugs or alcohol at the time of the crash. The vehicle rolled down an embankment, injuring both Black and Hart’s backs. Before going to the hospital, Kevin Hart reportedly returned to his nearby home. He was then hospitalised for ten days due to three spine fractures that required surgery and rehabilitation. According to friends and family, Hart is expected to make a full recovery.

Minor Injuries in Atlanta Crash for Bobcat Goldthwait and Dana Gould

After a car accident that resulted in minor injuries to both victims, among the comedians Bobcat Goldthwait and Dana Gould were forced to cancel a show scheduled for Thursday, August 15th, 2019, in Atlanta. The accident occurred right outside the Relapse Comedy Theatre, where they were scheduled to perform. According to police reports, the man driving the two comedians failed to yield while making a left turn. While making the illegal turn, the driver collided with another vehicle. According to the police, he was also driving with a suspended licence.

The accident happened around 6:25 p.m., as the among the comedians were on their way to the show. Both Goldthwait and Gould were taken to Grady Hospital in Atlanta, where they were diagnosed with minor injuries. Despite allegedly complaining of a leg injury, the driver refused treatment. Because of the crash and their injuries, the comedians had to cancel two shows, resulting in full refunds for guests who had already purchased tickets to The Show With Two Heads. According to reports, both comedians will make full recoveries. There is no word on whether any of the passengers in the other vehicle were injured.

Tracy Morgan: New York City Sideswipe Accident

Tracy Morgan, an actor and comedian, was involved in another recent car accident. Despite the fact that this was a minor sideswipe with no injuries, it damaged Morgan’s $2 million Bugatti, which he had purchased half an hour earlier from a dealership 0.5 miles down the road. Morgan tweeted that he was fine, but that he wasn’t sure about the condition of his new car. Tracy Morgan had been in a much more serious car accident five years prior when a Wal-Mart truck collided with his limo. James McNair was killed in the accident, and Morgan was critically injured. Morgan sustained a traumatic brain injury in addition to other injuries in the 2014 collision.
